VORTEX AIR COOLERS
Our company was established in 1993 as a company that is carried out the development of the products on new physical principles and based on that they have a high consumer quality.
The specialists of our company have developed a portable vortex gas cooler, based on the Ranque-Hilsch effect.
The device makes division of the input gas stream into two parts: cold and warm with the difference of temperatures between input and output streams of gas at + / - (30-35) 0C respectively, in the absence of sources of heating and cooling.
For example, when creating a cooler inlet air pressure of 3.5-4 kg/cm2, the cold air flow output is produced at a rate of 500 l / min and the temperature is 28-32 0C lower than the inlet air temperature (depending on the settings lowering the temperature to 40 0C with corresponding decrease in performance can be achieved).
The device is protected by a patent of Ukraine № 12174.
The great advantage of this device over other air cooling units is its total inertialness (the air of preset temperature comes out of the vortex cooler right from the beginning of its work). Vortex cooler does not need charging refrigerant, repair and maintenance.
Vortex coolers produced by our company can be used as sources of "point" cold (for example, for cooling electronic components of specially loaded processor systems, electrical enclosures, bearings, cutting tools, etc.). There is no need to cool the entire space in which the object is located, and spend a lot of money for this purpose; you can just cool only the places that need it. The use of the device in the conditions in which conventional freon or ammonia chillers simply do not work is of particular interest. The cause of such failures can be: much dust, particularly if the dust is oily, high ambient temperature (metal shops, paint manufacturing, wood processing, polymer production, coal mines, etc.). The fact is that traditional cooling devices have local air intake because of length limitations of effective air-conducting tracks. Our devices can be connected both to the compressor and to the compressed air lines, from which air intake can be done at a fairly long distance from the cooling system.
The major fields of application of the vortex coolers are:
1 - Industrial Electronics (cooling control units of software tools, automatic lines, robot stations and facilities);
2 - Hot and harmful production (air curtains in work zones of painting chambers, blacksmith shops, electroplating and metallurgical industries);
3 - Polymer industry;
4 - Casting (sand cooling in the installations with quickly hardening mixtures)
5 - Metal (injection of cold flow in the cutting zone, drilling, and welding zone);
6 - Self-propelled machinery for hot climates (cooling work areas in the cabs of cranes, etc.).
